CalSnap terms for users on iOS and Android.
Apps downloaded through the Apple App Store or Google Play are also subject to their respective platform terms and policies. Your use of CalSnap on a given device is governed by both these Terms and the rules of the store you obtained the app from.
CalSnap is licensed, not sold, to you. We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on devices you own or control, in accordance with the usage rules of the Apple App Store or Google Play, as applicable. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by CalSnap and its licensors.
You may use the app on any compatible iOS or Android device that you own or control, as permitted by the applicable store's usage rules. You may not distribute or make the app available over a network where it could be used by multiple devices at the same time. You may not transfer, redistribute, sublicense, copy, reverse-engineer, disassemble, modify, or create derivative works of the app except as permitted by applicable law.
You agree that Licensor may collect and use technical data and related information — including technical information about your device, system and application software, and peripherals — gathered periodically to facilitate software updates, product support, and other services related to the Licensed Application. Licensor may use this information, in a form that does not personally identify you, to improve products or provide services.
This Standard EULA is effective until terminated by you or Licensor. Your rights will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with any of its terms.
CalSnap may enable access to third-party services and websites. You agree to use them at your sole risk. Any data shown — including health, nutritional, or location information — is for general informational purposes only. We reserve the right to change, suspend, remove, disable or restrict access to any external service at any time.
YOU EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE THAT USE OF CALSNAP IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK. THE APP IS PROVIDED AS IS AND AS AVAILABLE, WITH ALL FAULTS AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, AND NONINFRINGEMENT. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THESE EXCLUSIONS, SO THEY MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
TO THE EXTENT NOT PROHIBITED BY LAW, CALSNAP SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR PERSONAL INJURY OR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE APP.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, excluding its conflicts of law provisions, except where local consumer protection laws apply. Users in the EU, UK, Switzerland, Norway, and Iceland may bring claims in their place of residence under local law.
By using CalSnap, you acknowledge that your inputs (such as meal photos and nutritional logs) may be processed by AI technology, including OpenAI, to provide nutritional estimates and goal-tracking summaries.
CalSnap provides general nutrition and wellness information and is not medical advice. Insights are for informational and educational purposes only and should not replace guidance from a qualified healthcare professional.
CalSnap offers optional auto-renewing subscriptions that unlock premium features. Payment is charged to your Apple App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled at least 24 hours before the period ends. If a free trial is offered, it will automatically convert into a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Refunds are handled in accordance with Apple's and Google's respective policies.
